Welcome to
Believers Christian

Academy

At Believers Christian Academy, we proudly use the ACE (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum, and we truly love the strong academic foundation and Christ-centered approach it provides.

One of the greatest strengths of ACE is that students are able to work at their own pace, allowing them to build confidence, responsibility, and mastery as they learn. While ACE is often known for independent learning, our approach at BCA goes a step further.

We are highly individualized and intentionally hands-on. Our students receive one-on-one support and tutoring, ensuring they are not just working independently, but are also being guided, encouraged, and taught in a way that meets their specific needs. This is what truly sets us apart.

At BCA, students are never “on their own.” We walk alongside each child, helping them grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

Believers Christian Academy truly changed the story of my family.

When my daughter was 12 years old, she still could not read or write. She had been through several schools without success, leaving us with years of frustration and disappointment.

The BCA family embraced my daughter in a way we will never forget. Within just a few months, she was already reading — something that once felt impossible.

Today, they are turning my daughter into a rocket. I am deeply grateful for the love, care, faith, and commitment they show to each student.

We are beyond grateful for BCA and the impact it has had on our children and our family. The teachers and staff truly care, not just about academics, but about each child’s heart, character, and faith. Our kids have grown so much—spiritually, emotionally, and academically—and they feel supported, encouraged, and loved every day. The school has partnered with us as parents in the most meaningful way, and we’ve seen such positive changes in our children because of it. We cannot recommend this school highly enough to any family looking for a Christ-centered, nurturing, and excellent education.

Believers Christian Academy was truly a God-send to our family. When my son Christopher graduated from public elementary school, I was incredibly nervous and stressed about sending him to a mainstream middle school, especially because he has some social delays. I prayed so much during that season, and God placed Believers Christian Academy directly in our path. From the moment Christopher joined BCA in sixth grade, we knew we had found something special. He was supported with patience, kindness, and genuine love, not just academically but socially and spiritually as well. The staff saw him, valued him, and encouraged him every step of the way.

Christopher attended Believers Christian Academy from sixth grade all the way through graduation, earning his high school diploma, and we will forever be grateful for the role this school played in his life. BCA was truly a blessing to our family and a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love.

CURRICULUM

The A.C.E. program provides students with a complete academic curriculum that includes skill building, goal setting, reading practice, character building, and Biblical integration. This complete package begins with reading development and progresses through high school, giving students a solid foundation for pursuing their life goals.

Students who are more skilled may progress at a faster rate or may accelerate in the areas of their academic strengths. Slower students are encouraged to do their best but are able to work at their levels of proficiency and proceed as they are capable.

The reasons why the A.C.E. program works can be summarized in these Seven Key Foundational Concepts:

·         Integration of Biblical Principles (Scripture memory, wisdom principles)

·         Godly Character Training (A.C.E. characters, 90-character traits of Christ)

·         Mastery-Based Learning

·         Built-In Reinforced System of Learning

·         Individualized Learning

·         Development of Critical Thinking Skills

·         Socialization

With these foundational concepts being used now for over 50 years around the world, it is understandable why A.C.E. is known as THE learning tool for today—and the future!

Diagnostic Testing

Conventional school systems fail when they force a struggling student to repeat an entire grade or advance a student without having grasped course concepts. Some of these students graduate from high school without basic grammar, math, or other academic skills.

Believers Christian Academy has a system that negates the need to repeat a grade or advance to more difficult material without mastering a subject.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The state of Florida has the most comprehensive school choice program in the United States, thanks to our current governor and legislators in Tallahassee. Believers Christian Academy participates in the Florida corporate tax scholarship programs and scholarships for special needs students.  The John McKay scholarship is no longer, and all former McKay students will be transitioned to the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA) beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

Income-based scholarships (FTC/FES) now allow a family of four in the household to make up to almost $100,000 per year, thanks to legislation passed in 2021!

There are also scholarships for special needs (either via an existing IEP or now by a physician diagnosis, as well), bullying at a public school, and even a partial scholarship for students with a reading deficiency.
