CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Believers Christian Academy provides superior Christian education consistent with Biblical principles. We are a dedicated school that presents God as the source of all life and truth. Within a secure, loving environment, students will discover their individual gifts and develop spiritually, socially, and intellectually.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to see graduates become servant leaders, who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrate Godly character and stewardship, think and act biblically, and are academically prepared for life.

OUR MISSION

Believers Christian Academy’s mission is to partner with parents in the education of their children in order to raise up generations of students who embrace Biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, demonstrate discipline, and exhibit leadership and influence in their homes, churches, and communities.

CURRICULUM

The A.C.E. program provides students with a complete academic curriculum that includes skill building, goal setting, reading practice, character building, and Biblical integration. This complete package begins with reading development and progresses through high school, giving students a solid foundation for pursuing their life goals.

Students who are more skilled may progress at a faster rate or may accelerate in the areas of their academic strengths. Slower students are encouraged to do their best but are able to work at their levels of proficiency and proceed as they are capable.

The reasons why the A.C.E. program works can be summarized in these Seven Key Foundational Concepts:

·         Integration of Biblical Principles (Scripture memory, wisdom principles)

·         Godly Character Training (A.C.E. characters, 90-character traits of Christ)

·         Mastery-Based Learning

·         Built-In Reinforced System of Learning

·         Individualized Learning

·         Development of Critical Thinking Skills

·         Socialization

With these foundational concepts being used now for over 50 years around the world, it is understandable why A.C.E. is known as THE learning tool for today—and the future!

Diagnostic Testing

Conventional school systems fail when they force a struggling student to repeat an entire grade or advance a student without having grasped course concepts. Some of these students graduate from high school without basic grammar, math, or other academic skills.

Believers Christian Academy has a system that negates the need to repeat a grade or advance to more difficult material without mastering a subject.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The state of Florida has the most comprehensive school choice program in the United States, thanks to our current governor and legislators in Tallahassee. Believers Christian Academy participates in the Florida corporate tax scholarship programs and scholarships for special needs students.  The John McKay scholarship is no longer, and all former McKay students will be transitioned to the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA) beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

Income-based scholarships (FTC/FES) now allow a family of four in the household to make up to almost $100,000 per year, thanks to legislation passed in 2021!

There are also scholarships for special needs (either via an existing IEP or now by a physician diagnosis, as well), bullying at a public school, and even a partial scholarship for students with a reading deficiency.
